A List of Kaiser Permanente Physicians that many patients believe are not worth visiting.
This is a short list. These names are submitted by members of the public and are to be
considered their personal opinions. You really should check with your stated medical board to
see what information they also might have about these people. Except it is kind of a waste of
time in California because the Medical Board is afraid of Kaiser and the Permanente and so
they now list most all court actions and investigations as not being the physicians fault
but rather either a Kaiser Permanente group event or a system problem. In short people -
you are mostly on you own when it comes to checking out medical personnel.

When reading the following about Vilis Kruze you should be aware that background checks could have picked up the history of this guy if they had actually conducted one. If they knew his history when hiring him that is even worse.

Vilis Kruze, a pediatrician and abortionist for Kaiser Permanente facilities in Ohio and Hawaii, was once a member of the Nazi SS. He worked with Josef Mengele during World War II. When he wasn’t killing unborn children, Kruze was giving young girls drugs in exchange for sexual favors. After serving a brief term in a prison for the criminally insane, Kruze was tracked down and murdered by the brother of one of the girls he had seduced. While this physician is now deceased the public should wonder how and why he was working for Kaiser in the first place.

More from CBS's "60 Minutes" tells a similar story. A few years before Roe v. Wade, Barbara Seitz, a dancer in Cleveland, wanted an illegal abortion. So she went to see Vilis Kruze, a local doctor, who administered various drugs and implanted an IUD coil for $100. The result was a bloody, botched abortion. Seitz committed suicide and Kruze was jailed, eventually serving time in the Lima State Hospital for the Criminally Insane. After his release, Kruze moved to Hawaii, where Kaiser Permanente, without investigating his past, hired him as a pediatrician. A young couple came to him to treat their four-month-old son, who'd come down with a fever. Kruze misdiagnosed the illness, which turned out to be meningitis; the delayed diagnosis permanently brain-damaged the boy. After this episode, Kruze moved to California. There, he was murdered by the brother of a woman who overdosed on drugs that Kruze gave her.

Rufino Tan CO. A psychiatrist with Kaiser Permanente in Fontana, CO was suspended from practice for 30 days in January and placed on five years' probation. The Medical Board of California accused him of persuading two of his patients and the mother of a third patient to buy and then sell products through a multilevel marketing scheme from which he earned money. The three were a woman the psychiatrist was treating for major depression, a man with bipolar disorder and the mother of a teenager CO was seeing for chronic lying, board records show.

Kaiser Permanente officials discovered CO's marketing scheme in 2002 and reported him to the Medical Board, hospital spokeswoman Jennifer Resch-Silvestri said.

The hospital did not suspend CO's privileges but monitored him as he continued to practice, she said.

"He has benefited many patients in the course of his practice," Resch-Silvestri said. "Dr. CO realizes that this activity is not permissible, and we do not expect a recurrence."

CO declined an interview, the spokeswoman said.

disabled patient to hasten his death and harvest his organs for transplantation.
