I work for a very small, private non-profit and this agency uses Kaiser Permanente, a HMO. I have used Kaiser before and I have been so thoroughly disappointed at the lack of care, the repeated levels of poor treatmeent and the rising cost in co-pays. I’ve had doctors rush me along as I attempted to explain my condition. I’ve had doctors yell at me because I asked questions about natural ways to treat High Blood Pressure. I’ve been charged varying amounts for my prescriptions even though I was told it should be $10 each time. Moreover, the doctors do not seem to have ANY bedside manners. At 35, I long to have a doctor that’s my doctor….not a different doctor everytime I come in…but someone who knows and cares about my wellbeing.
